Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Property Surveyor

We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Property Surveyor in the Asset & Regeneration Team. This post will be based at our Stanley or Gosforth office and is a permanent full-time position.

About the role

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the management and optimisation of Karbon's commercial and residential property portfolios. The focus will be on delivering surveying services across a range of areas including options appraisals, commercial lease negotiations, and working closely with other stakeholders to progress acquisitions, disposals, and other property-related transactions.

About you

We seek an enthusiastic and personable individual with knowledge and experience in the sector, particular relating to surveying and asset management.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with all stakeholders to deliver option appraisal reports and provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making. You will be highly motivated, have good time management with a great attention to detail, be able to work unsupervised, and have a clear strategic focus. A strong understanding of RICS standards will be key, as well as a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and managing risks within the portfolios.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.

  • Property Surveyor - permanent role
    • Salary is £42,038 per annum plus a Karbon car payment of £2,317 per annum
      • Location: Stanley or Gosforth
        • Regular travel will be required
          • 37 Hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working
