Job Title: Domestic Assistant/Housekeeper - Ibstock House

Location: Bramfield House School, Suffolk, IP19 9AB

Salary: £18,630.00 per annum

Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, 46 weeks

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Domestic Assistant/Housekeeper to join our close-knit team at Bramfield House School, part of Acorn Education.

About the Role

As a Domestic Assistant/Housekeeper at Bramfield House, you will be required to support the cleaning and management of the food service at the school whilst providing domestic support during breakfast and lunch periods.

Key Responsibilities

Be able to use domestic and professional cleaning equipment; powered floor polisher, vacuum cleaners etc.
Cleaning of rooms as needed; toilets, showers, stairways, lobbies, windows, paintwork, corridors, outside steps and remove all litter and waste to outside bins.
Provide for breakfast and lunch service for staff and boys. (Food is prepared remotely on site).

be able to work on your own initiative (unsupervised), as well as part of a Team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness required throughout the school.
