Do you want to be part of a fantastic catering team? Are you passionate about preparing great food and delivering outstanding service?

We’re looking for an Assistant Cook to join our catering team at ISS UK. In this mobile role, you'll support the preparation and service of meals across various sites, helping to deliver delicious, well-presented food while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

A driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as you’ll be required to travel between locations.

The Role

Support the Chef with food preparation and cooking duties

Help deliver consistently high standards of food and service

Maintain excellent cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and service areas

Ensure health & safety guidelines are followed at all times

Work efficiently to serve meals on time and to the expected standard

Collaborate closely with team members to provide a seamless dining experience

Always act with the customer in mind, ensuring satisfaction at every step

About You

A valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential

Energetic and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in food and hospitality

Previous catering or kitchen experience is desirable, but not essential

A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn

Solid understanding of food hygiene principles

Able to follow instructions while also using initiative when needed
