Crynodeb
The individual will be recruited to work across a range of commissioning projects linked to children's and adult services.
Working as a Commissioning Officer, alongside other commissioners, colleagues and stakeholders within Calderdale, the post holder will research, identify, support and lead on the development, commissioning and performance management of commissioning projects, initiatives and services designed to improve outcomes for children, young people, vulnerable adults and families.
We are seeking a skilled professional with relevant experience who is committed to providing a high-quality service, is self-motivated and able to use their initiative.
The successful candidate will join an experienced Team, reporting to a Senior Commissioning Officer, and will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and experience of commissioning and project management.
We would welcome applications from individuals with a demonstrable record of working with local partners and stakeholders, with good planning and organisational skills and experience, and with a good knowledge of social care services, commissioning and relevant legislation.

Applicants to posts that are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act will require a DBS from the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
