Site Engineer Opportunity in Yorkshire!
Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Site Engineer ready to take on diverse and challenging civil engineering projects? We're looking for a driven individual to join our growing team, based out of our Yorkshire office, with a focus on highways and roadworks across the region.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent chance to play a key role in the successful delivery of varied civil engineering projects. As a Site Engineer, you will be instrumental in:
- Setting out, levelling, and surveying on site.
- Thoroughly checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy.
- Overseeing quality control and ensuring strict compliance with specifications and standards.
- Effective liaison with clients, subcontractors, and other professionals.
- Proactively resolving any technical issues that may arise on site.
- Monitoring project progress and producing comprehensive reports.
- Assisting with the preparation of risk assessments and method statements.
- Ensuring steadfast adherence to health and safety regulations on site.
- Maintaining accurate site records and diaries.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a highly motivated individual with:
- A degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer, ideally with a Civils Contractor.
- Demonstrable experience working on general civils projects.
- Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment (total stations, GPS, etc.).
- A strong understanding of health and safety legislation and site procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work both independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- A full UK driving licence.
Salary & Benefits
