We’re looking for compassionate, reliable, and resilient Support Workers to join our team at a specialist residential home supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
What You will Be Doing:
Creating a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children feel valued and supported.
Supporting young people to develop life skills, confidence, and independence.
Encouraging participation in fun activities, hobbies, and community outings.
Assisting with day-to-day routines, care plans, and emotional support.
Being a positive role model and promoting healthy relationships.
Maintaining clear and accurate records in line with safeguarding standards.
About You:
You must hold a Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
Experience in children’s residential care or working with EBD is desirable — but we value the right attitude, empathy, and resilience above all.
Comfortable working shifts, including weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins (enhanced rates apply).
Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
