Employment status: employed
Hours per week: Live in with 2 and half hour break each day.
Hourly pay rate: £205 a live in day
I am looking for a live in carer to work alternate weeks. I am a disabled 50 year old female living in a bungalow.
I need a driver over 21 so that they can access my automatic wheelchair accessible vehicle. I have pets including a cat. I live on the border of East and West Sussex.
Duties include:
Moving and handling
Other relevant duties as required
Housekeeping
Shopping
Cooking
Transportation
Companionship
Looking after pets
Gardening
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
Assistance at meetings.
Candidate qualities:
Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
Reliable with good timekeeping
Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Must be comfortable with pets
Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
