We are seeking a female Personal Assistant to support a lovely young woman who lives at home with her mother, sister, and their friendly family dog. This is a meaningful and rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, emotionally resilient, and passionate about helping others thrive in daily life.
As her Personal Assistant, you will play a vital part in helping her build confidence, develop positive daily routines, and access her local community. Your role will offer companionship, stability, and encouragement, supporting her to navigate life with greater independence and joy.
She is currently supported by her close-knit family, but she would greatly benefit from dedicated one-to-one support. She is a warm, kind-hearted young lady who wants to succeed — she just needs a little extra support to help her get there.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting with community access, social activities, and building new routines
- Assisting with money management and encouraging personal responsibility
- Promoting healthy emotional regulation and coping strategies
- Acting as a positive role model and trusted companion
- Encouraging positive relationships and boosting self-esteem and confidence
- Working closely with the family to ensure a safe and supportive environment
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is calm, confident, and compassionate
- Has a genuine interest in supporting individuals with emotional or behavioural needs
- Can build trust and provide consistent, reliable support
- Is comfortable working in a family home with pets
- Understands the importance of emotional resilience and patient communication
- She can experience anxiety, so it’s essential that her support person is understanding, calm under pressure, and able to create a space where she feels safe and valued.
