PSPS are recruiting Customer Engagement Advisors to join our Revenues & Benefits Team, based at our offices in Horncastle, Boston and Spalding.
The Revenues and Benefits service is responsible for the professional, timely and accurate billing, collection, recovery and enforcement of monies due, and the processing and payment of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support on behalf of our client councils. In an evolving work environment, you will need to maintain a good understanding of legislation, guidance and local policy and be able to apply this in practice.
As part of this team, you will become an integral part of the fantastic service we provide to our customers across the wider PSPS geography encompassing Boston Borough, East Lindsey and South Holland residents - supporting with any queries relating to Council Tax, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support.
Grade 3 £24,307.67 progressing to Grade 4 after training period
We are looking for someone who is:
Confident in ydecision making and clear in communication with others.
Takes satisfaction in problem solving and case resolution with an eye for detail specifically around data inputting, use of ICT and have a keen interest in Maths.
Able to deal sensitively with customers who may be vulnerable and/or emotional, and situations that may be challenging.
Exceptionally well-organised, dependable and flexible.
Experience within a revenues and benefits environment is desirable,
