What skills and experience we're looking for
Sutton Manor Community Primary School seeks dedicated Classroom Support Teaching Assistants (Level 3) to join our team. This full-time position is available on a Term Time + 5 days contract, with the opportunity for voluntary overtime in our holiday clubs. Main Responsibilities Include:
To work under the guidance of the class teacher to support children in designated classes
To, when necessary, cover classes and deliver the work that is planned
To raise standards using strategies in line with the school’s policies and procedures
To ensure the effective implementation of school and phase strategies
To ensure consistently high standards of behaviour and learning
To supervise children during break and lunchtimes
To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children within the school
