TheSeniorProjectManagerisaspecialistpositionwithintheGreaterManchester Procurement Programme.
The post holder will be responsible for collaborative procurement and supply chain projects across Greater Manchester Trusts.
The post-holder must hold full CIPS membership (MCIPS) whilst working to satisfy customerrequirementsandproducinghighqualityworkontime.
Aswecontinuetogrow our regional collaboration, we are looking to recruit an individual with excellent NHS category and project management knowledge with the drive and vision to deliver those demanding savings targets.
Thepost-holderwillbetaskedwithchallenginguserpreferencesandmaximisingadoption to corporate arrangements and frameworks.
Lead on the delivery of effective working relationships with clinicians and stakeholders, improvingcustomersatisfactionwithengagementtoensuretheneedsofdifferentgroupsof trustsandcustomersareidentifiedandmet
A lead role in continuous improvement across the GM procurement teams.
Develops and influences procurement strategy, using a range of techniques to maximise value formoney to the taxpayer and improve customer experience.
Lead larger and/or complex procurement “big ticket” projects. Use a range of tools and techniques to devise appropriate procurement solutions, must have a working and legal knowledge of contracting and ensure contracts are awarded in accordance with trust processes, Legislation and Government policy.
Responsibleforestimatingfinancialbenefitsfromprocurementinitiatives.
Work on collaborative procurement projects across a diverse range of stakeholders, including clinical leads, to meet key milestones and performance indicators
WorkcloselywithTrustsinidentifyingworkprioritiesanddeliverablestoinformworkplans.
Ensure delivery of the annual work plan for the region ensuring performance to key milestones and agreed key performance indicators
