Ready for Your Next Leadership Challenge? Step into the Role of Deputy Manager!
Are you an experienced care professional ready to make a bigger impact? We're seeking a Deputy Manager who’s passionate about delivering exceptional care and leading from the front.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support the day-to-day running of a specialist care home while ensuring residents receive the highest quality, person-centred care. You’ll also take on full management responsibilities in the absence of the Home Manager—making you an essential part of the leadership team.
What You’ll Do:
Lead, mentor, and inspire care staff to deliver compassionate, high-quality support
Oversee care plans, medication, and the overall well-being of residents
Act as safeguarding lead when required and ensure regulatory compliance
Promote an environment where independence, dignity, and choice thrive
Build strong relationships with families, health professionals, and community partners
What Makes This Role Special?
You’ll be joining a service that supports individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs—providing a calm, respectful environment where every person is seen, heard, and valued.
The care model is built around Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), focusing on understanding each individual, reducing behaviours of concern, and promoting a fulfilling, empowered life.
What You’ll Gain:
A supportive, passionate team who put people at the heart of everything
Genuine opportunities for professional growth and career progression
A workplace culture that values empathy, collaboration, and your unique leadership style
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a Deputy Manager role within a care setting
A hands-on leader with excellent communication and mentoring skills
Solid knowledge of safeguarding procedures and CQC standards
A commitment to person-centred care and PBS principles
If you’re ready to lead with heart and make a real difference in people’s lives, we’d love to hear from you.
Apply now and take the next exciting step in your care career!
