Our client is looking for an experienced and values-driven Deputy Home Manager to join a small residential service for adults with learning disabilities. With a consistent CQC ‘Good’ rating, the home is known for its nurturing approach, close-knit team, and strong emphasis on dignity, independence, and person-centred care.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) — perfect for someone with a strong understanding of care regulations and a passion for supporting people to live fulfilling lives in a homely, empowering environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Deputy Home Manager in a care or support setting (essential)
- Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification (or above)
- Excellent working knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- A calm, supportive, and inclusive approach to team and resident care
- Experience in learning disability support is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Registered Manager in the daily operations of the home
- Leading, motivating, and supervising a small care team
- Overseeing care plans, risk assessments, and person-centred practices
- Ensuring high standards of care and full compliance with CQC regulations
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, and professionals
- Contributing to audits, training, and service development
