Deputy Home Manager – £30,000 | 40 Hours | Monday–Friday | Small Learning Disabilities Service

A rewarding leadership role in a warm, person-centred home with a 'Good' CQC rating.

Our client is looking for an experienced and values-driven Deputy Home Manager to join a small residential service for adults with learning disabilities. With a consistent CQC ‘Good’ rating, the home is known for its nurturing approach, close-knit team, and strong emphasis on dignity, independence, and person-centred care.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) — perfect for someone with a strong understanding of care regulations and a passion for supporting people to live fulfilling lives in a homely, empowering environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Deputy Home Manager in a care or support setting (essential)
  • Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification (or above)
  • Excellent working knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • A calm, supportive, and inclusive approach to team and resident care
  • Experience in learning disability support is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Registered Manager in the daily operations of the home
  • Leading, motivating, and supervising a small care team
  • Overseeing care plans, risk assessments, and person-centred practices
  • Ensuring high standards of care and full compliance with CQC regulations
  • Building positive relationships with residents, families, and professionals
  • Contributing to audits, training, and service development
