Location: Monmouth (occasional travel to Cardiff as required)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 16:00, Friday 07:00 - 12:00
Salary: £26,728 - £29,120 DOE

Vibe Recruit's client is looking for a hands-on, motivated Multiskilled Production Operative to join their dynamic manufacturing team in Monmouth. This is a varied and rewarding role suited to someone who enjoys combining technical precision with practical, day-to-day production and logistics tasks.

You'll work with hand and power tools, interpret technical drawings, support both goods in and goods out, and ensure machinery and production lines run smoothly and safely. If you're a team player with strong attention to detail and a flexible mindset, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a range of hand and power tools (e.g. drills, cutters) safely and efficiently

  • Interpret customer drawings to ensure accurate fitting of flashings to panels

  • Set up machinery correctly and perform pre-checks before production begins

  • Measure and inspect products to ensure they meet required specifications

  • Monitor and record accurate operational data

  • Understand and follow job sheets or production schedules

  • Manage Goods In: book in stock and perform quality checks

  • Manage Goods Out: package products, create dispatch paperwork and labels

  • Pick and pack items from the warehouse and raw materials for production

  • Maintain and clean machinery to uphold quality and safety standards

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings

  • Confident using hand and power tools (e.g., hand cutters, drills)

  • A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to adapt to changing priorities

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • High attention to detail and the ability to spot issues early

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
