Showroom Consultant
Location : Peterborough
Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours:
• Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 12:00pm – 2:30pm
• Saturday: 9:30am – 3:00pm (optional)
DC Personnel are recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing supplier of bathroom suites, tiles, and interior products based in Peterborough. Due to continued business growth, they are looking to expand their team with the addition of a Showroom Consultant.
This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and successful team.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist both trade and public customers in the showroom
• Follow up with customer enquiries and maintain strong client relationships
• Use internal systems to set up customer accounts, manage stock, and submit purchase orders
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities
• Inform customers about current promotions and sales
• Conduct stock checks and process incoming goods
• Work closely with the warehouse team on stock control
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries
Requirements:
• Previous experience in bathroom retail or a trade counter environment is desirable
• Confident using computers and internal systems
• Professional telephone manner
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Motivated, reliable, and committed
