Summary

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Estates team within Corporate Asset Management.

The Estates team deals with the disposal of surplus Council assets and the substantial commercial property investment portfolio. The postholder will acquire and dispose of all types of heritable property for the operational requirements of the Council.

The postholder will also carry out lease and license arrangements on Council property and land, they will manage corporate projects, property projects and give general property advice, particularly with regard to valuation and property management issues.

There will be a requirement to instruct and direct technical and other professional colleagues in the Council and external contractors in connection with such projects and disposals.

Applicants should be a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and have knowledge/experience in the sale of commercial, residential and development assets and/or experience of commercial property portfolio management.
