Crynodeb
PURPOSE:
1 Take responsibility for the management and chairing of Child Protection Conferences, Strategy meetings and other meetings as required by Child Safeguarding Procedures or departmental policies.
2 Co-ordinate investigations into allegations against staff, carers and volunteers on behalf of the LADO.
3 Work with the Head of Service, Children’s Quality Assurance to provide effective systems in child protection work and quality assure practice across the safeguarding partnership.
4 Ensure that all work undertaken is consistent with the appropriate procedures, legislation and guidance.
5 Contribute to, and take the lead where appropriate, in audit and policy work in the area of Children’s Services.
