Refuse Driver - Grade F

Responsibilities
Operate refuse collection vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
Collect and transport refuse and recyclable materials in accordance with established schedules.
Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and ready for operation daily.
Comply with all safety and traffic regulations at all times during collection routes.
Interact courteously with residents and respond to queries related to refuse collection services.
Report any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance issues promptly.
Assist in loading and unloading refuse materials as needed, ensuring proper handling procedures.
Adhere to environmental regulations and promote recycling initiatives within the community.
Requirements
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Proven experience operating heavy vehicles or refuse collection trucks.
Strong knowledge of safety protocols and traffic regulations.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in varying weather conditions.
Excellent communication skills for interaction with residents and team members.
Detail-oriented with a focus on following procedures and maintaining operational standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.

End Time: 15:45
Pay Per Hour: £15.08
