Domestic cleaners sought to work in private homes in Perth (and nearby areas) carrying out general cleaning and other domestic tasks. This is part-time up to a maximum of 20 hours a week, and often done while the homeowner is out of the house. The range of tasks done by cleaners depends on what the homeowner wants. But they can include any of the following and some more:
- dusting and polishing furniture
- cleaning windows
- vacuuming carpets
- mopping floor tiles
- ironing clothing
- washing up pots and pans
For the position, you need:
- To enjoy doing practical tasks.
- To be reliable and motivated.
- Have knowledge of using household cleaning equipment and materials.
- The ability to clean without being supervised.
- To have high cleaning standards.
- To work as part of a team with other cleaners, if necessary. Cleaners may be asked to do a one off spring clean for a special occasion. For example, washing down paintwork and walls, clean out cupboards and shampoo carpets. All cleaning products and materials will be supplied by the client. Payment shall be made on the day of each clean.
