The Best Connection Newcastle are seeking to recruit ad hoc Driver's Mates to work for their client in North Shields. The client is a Furniture wholesale distributor and supply local councils and residents.
The role: Loading and unloading products from the vehicle Assisting the Driver with directions Ringing customers to advise of ETA This role will involve heavy manual lifting The candidate: Previous Drivers Mate experience would be advantageous Must be physically fit and comfortable with heavy repetitive lifting Flexible to work weekends as well as weekdays Shift pattern: Ad hoc shifts - the shifts will vary week to week Candidates are expected to be able to work weekends Start times of 8am Pay Rates: £12.21 per hour flat rate Benefits of working with The Best Connection: Excellent pay rates 24/7 contact with consultants Pension Contributions Online payslips Holiday accrual Personal accident insurance Ongoing assignments Access to 'Perks at Work' temporary worker benefit scheme Suitable candidates will be invited to register online via the digital onboarding system.
