Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver The Best Connection are currently seeking to recruit HGV Class 2 (LGV C) drivers to work with our client based in Gateshead. Our client specialises in the delivery of ambient, chilled, and frozen food and drink products across the North East.
The Role: Multi-drop Class 2 driving, delivering to high-security establishments Use of tail-lift and wheeling cages to the rear of the vehicle Previous experience is desirable, as the role requires fast, efficient, and accurate deliveries to customers on scheduled routes This is a customer-facing role, so a friendly and professional attitude is essential - you will be representing both our client and The Best Connection The Candidate: Valid and in-date Cat C driving licence, CPC card, and Digital Tachograph card Smart appearance Excellent written and verbal communication skills Positive attitude towards customer service Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 07:00am start time Pay Rates (PAYE): £16.76 per hour £25.14 per hour for hours worked beyond 45 per week Benefits of Working with The Best Connection: Excellent pay rates 24/7 consultant support Pension contributions Online payslips Holiday accrual Personal accident insurance Ongoing assignments Suitable candidates will be invited to register online.
