Crynodeb
Providing a primary care mental health service, to patients ages 16+ in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin (STW). The post-holder will work as a member of a locality team within the (STW) Psychological Therapies Service, providing effective evidence-based therapies. The post holder will be part of an NHS Talking Therapies service and will provide high intensity interventions using NHS Talking Therapies approved Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as recommended by NICE. The post holder will work with clients who have a range of difficulties including depression and anxiety disorders for which the TTAD modality is demonstrated to be clinically effective. The service offers a stepped care model to a range of mental health issues using evidenced based, NICE approved approaches. The post-holder will work within the TTAD service providing high intensity interventions, providing a high intensity service to clients with a range of complex problems. The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunitiesand equality of access to treatment.
