proactive and customer-focused Duty Manager to lead the wet side operations at our vibrant Exmouth Leisure Centre.

About the Role
As Duty Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the centre, with a focus on poolside operations and lifeguard
team leadership. You’ll deputise for the Leisure Manager, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient operations while delivering
exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise the lifeguard and wet side teams
* Oversee pool plant operations and ensure safety compliance
* Manage front-of-house and facility assistant teams
* Support commercial performance through excellent service delivery
* Handle first aid, emergency response, and health & safety procedures
* Assist with membership sales and customer engagement
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a duty management or supervisory role in leisure
* National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
* First Aid at Work certificate
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* IT literacy and familiarity with Leisure Management Systems
* A flexible, resilient, and customer-first mindset
Desirable Extras
* Pool Plant Operator qualification
* Fire, Health & Safety, or Emergency Procedures training
* Ongoing professional development in leisure or fitness
