Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Recycling Operative to join our team at Anglian Home Improvements. This role involves handling and processing windows that have been removed from customer properties and returned to our plant for recycling. You will play a key role in ensuring materials are sorted, dismantled, and processed efficiently and safely, contributing to our sustainability goals and circular manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Using space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently and safely.
• Inspect waste material condition and quantity, ensuring it conforms to business standards.
• Support and assist in the physical movement (loading & unloading) of waste streams.
• Meet department performance and service targets.
• Adhere to manual handling practice.
• Engage in sort and clean procedures.
• Use provided machinery as instructed to facilitate the processing of waste materials.
What we need:
• Experience of manual handling.
• Experience of static saw operation
• Able to prioritise workflow.
• Reliable
• Able to perform consistently within a physical role
