Working hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £55,000- £60,000 per annum, subject to qualifications and experience

ROLE DUTIES
- To manage the estates team, comprising of two Surveyors, two Project Managers, a Helpdesk Manager and a Sales and Lettings Officer, ensuring the efficient caretaking of residential property and closed churches through effective management, supervision and appraisal process.
- To take the lead role for planning and delivering the Estate plan for residential clergy accommodation, including the approximate 375 properties in the estate, collaborating with key stakeholders (such as Bishops and Archdeacons, the Finance Team and Diocesan Secretary) and using quantitative and qualitative data to ensure robust plans are developed and maintained.
- To support the Head of Property with the developing the overall property strategy and plan, ensuring strategic asset management planning for vicarages is encompassed into the overall property strategy.
- To manage the residential property budget, working closely with the Finance Director and Tema, including forecasting expenditure accurately and advising trustees of risk and issues that could cause variances to budget, ensuring relevant committees are appraised of the choices available to them ahead of significant overspends, and to develop and implement actions to mitigate risk.

CRITERIA
- MRICS, MCIOB, RIBBA or equivalent
- Substantial experience in
Managing building services, for example, in a housing association background. Producing and delivering estate plans for a large property portfolioo
- Adept at planning, organising and prioritising with an eye for detail
- Technically adept with a comprehensive understanding of architecture, building materials, building techniques and defects.
