Summary

Job Title: Chef de Partie

Location: Falmouth

Salary: £30,000 - £31,500

Our client in Falmouth is seeking a Chef de Partie for their busy business on a full-time permanent basis.

As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing your kitchen section to ensure that dishes meet the company high standards of quality. Collaboration with the Head Chef and Sous Chef is key to maintaining consistent excellence and fostering a positive, well-structured kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee your assigned kitchen station (e.g., grill, pantry, sauces) effectively during service.
Prepare, cook, and present dishes to meet the high standards and unique style of the company
Ensure well-organised prior to each service.
Provide guidance and assistance to junior kitchen staff (such as commis chefs and kitchen assistants).
Uphold strict standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety in accordance with regulations.
Collaborate within a team, communicating efficiently and remaining composed during busy periods.
Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering, proper rotation, and waste reduction.
Offer creative input for daily specials and contribute to the evolution of the menu.
Requirements:

Previous experience as a successful CDP or skilled demi-Chef de Partie prepared for advancement.
Enthusiasm for utilising fresh, seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
Collaborative team member with a constructive demeanor and professional ethics.
Food hygiene certification at Level 2 or higher is desirable.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
