Crynodeb
The successful candidate will be expected to assess and manage patients Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust presenting to the emergency department with a wide spectrum of emergency presentations. You will be involved in the resuscitation of acutely ill and injured patients and will be part of the trauma team. You will be expected to work closely with senior colleagues to facilitate good clinical care. Service delivery will be on the junior grade rota. The successful candidate will also play a key role in the coordination, organization and delivery of the undergraduate clinical teaching programme. A close working relationship with the Undergraduate Medical Education Coordinator ensures a well structured teaching experience for undergraduate medical trainees. The post is for a fixed twelve-month period (August 2025 to August 2026).
