Lead UAT Analyst
Job Overview
-We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lead UAT Analyst to oversee and manage the User Acceptance Testing phase of our software development lifecycle. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, QA teams, and developers to ensure that delivered solutions meet business requirements and are ready for production deployment. You will head up the planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of UAT activities across multiple projects.
Main Duties
- Planning and Strategy:
-Define UAT scope, objectives, and success criteria
-Develop test plans, schedules, and resource requirements
-Coordinate business users to identify test scenarios and acceptance criteria
-Test Case Development and Execution:
-Review and validate business requirements and functional specifications
-Create and manage detailed test cases and scripts
-Oversee execution of test cases by business users and track results
-Defect Management:
-Log, track, and prioritize defects
-Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure timely resolution
-Retest resolved issues and validate fixes
-Stakeholder Communication:
-Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams
-Provide regular updates, test metrics, and final test sign-off reports
-Facilitate UAT status meetings and defect triage sessions
-Continuous Improvement:
-Identify opportunities to improve UAT processes and tools
-Review pre-UAT activities and look at how we can improve the end to end experience for business users
What we are looking for
-5+ years of experience in software testing, at least 2 years in a UAT leadership role
-Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
-Experience with test management tools (e.g. Service Now, Azure Dev Ops) and CAFM systems (e.g. Maximo, Click, ACE)
-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
