The Centre for Cardiovascular Science (CVS) is looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join the busy CVS Finance Team, providing support to a £10M research programme for the Centre for Pesticide Suicide Prevention whilst also providing CVS-wide finance support.
The Opportunity:
This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
The salary for this post is £34,132 to £39,355 per annum.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Experience in a finance role within the Higher Education sector with sound understanding and experience of research grants post award financial management.
Experience preparing monthly budget reports
Ability to work independently, to use initiative and prioritise own workload
Excellent IT skills, specifically Excel.
