We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Category Manager to work at our Southport site.

Main Purpose of the Role

Lead the SIOP Systems and Strategy Team to deliver effective systems, processes, and strategies that drive inventory performance
and product availability. Provide expert technical support for process analysis, KPI reporting, and strategy optimisation to meet
evolving business needs. Partner with the Forecast and Inventory Manager to implement initiatives that meet internal and external
SLAs. Champion ERP and forecasting system enhancements to support continuous improvement and integration.

Management Of People & Advisory

Manages a small team of Analysts. Acts as subject matter expert on planning system and inventory management principles.

Spread Of Skills & Analysis Required

The role requires strong technical expertise within ERP and SAP as well as forecasting systems. Creative problem solving, ability
to challenge the status quo and solution focused mindset is required. The ability to inspire and lead the team through coaching
and goal setting is key.

Qualifications & Education

Degree or equivalent qualification in an appropriate subject (Supply Chain, Business, Mathematics).

Experience & Proven Ability Required

Essential Criteria

* Excellent knowledge of Forecasting principles and application.
* 5+ years of planning and inventory management experience
* Experience of evaluating and setting service level and authority levels in a forecasting system
* SAP and S/4 Hana ERP knowledge covering Materials Management, Forecasting and Production Planning.
* Excellent data management and analysis skills using SQL / MS Access.
* Ability to communicate and confidently present at various levels.
* Experience of managing a small team.
* Ability to train & coach effectively.
* Capable in the use of MS Office Suite, Google, or Equivalent systems.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Good business and commercial awareness.




Desirable Criteria

* Experience of process mapping
* Capable in the use of data analysis and presentation tools such as QlikSense, Google Analytics etc.

* Experience of implementing new software- ERP, Forecasting Software etc.
