About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and resilient support workers to join our team at a nurturing residential children’s home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
As a support worker, you’ll play a vital role in providing a safe, supportive, and caring environment where children can thrive, build trust, and achieve positive outcomes. You’ll be working as part of a close-knit team, delivering high standards of care and promoting independence and emotional well-being for each child in our care.
Requirements:
Must hold a Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification)
Must be a driver with access to your own vehicle
Experience working with children and young people with EBD
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work shifts, including weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins (additional pay for sleep-ins where applicable)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day care, support, and supervision to children within the home
Support children to achieve their individual goals and care plans
Encourage positive relationships, participation in activities, and educational engagement
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
Work in accordance with Ofsted standards, safeguarding practices, and organisational policies
What We Offer:
£13.00 - £13.50 per hour
Enhanced rates for sleep-in shifts
