Crynodeb
To provide a high standard of physiotherapy service to a caseload of children aged 0-19 years of age, within the community setting. This caseload consists of children with a wide range of developmental difficulties and/or disabilities, and/or complex or multiple pathologies. Children will be seen in a variety of clinical settings including schools, childrens own home and clinics. To provide an advanced standard of physiotherapy assessment, treatment, management and advice to paediatric patients aged 0-19, their families and carers within the community setting. The caseload consists of children with a wide range of development difficulties and/or disabilities, many of whom may have very complex or multiple pathologies. To work as an autonomous practitioner, unsupervised, and at times in conjunction with less senior team colleagues across a variety of locations within the community including patients homes, schools and clinics to meet the needs of the individual child. To develop specialist knowledge and experience in paediatric skills so as to become a specialist practitioner.
