We are looking to appoint a Safeguarding and Pastoral Support Officer for 37 hours per week, on a term time only basis to join our team at Archbishop Sentamu Academy.
This role will support the welfare and progress of students in their learning, behaviour and transitions as well as lead on pastoral support to pupils, providing advice and guidance and implementing agreed plans to encourage learning and overcome barriers to learning. The post holder will work with students in school who are experiencing complex emotionally demanding situations due to outside influences, requiring sensitivity.
