Teaching Assistant (Temporary)

Parkfield Primary School is excited to offer an opportunity for a Temporary Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team, starting September 2025.
What will your role involve?
- Providing personalised support to individual pupils and small groups with complex needs, within our experienced and nurturing SEND team.
- Assisting in the delivery of tailored educational programmes to meet the diverse needs of our learners.
- Working as part of The Cherry Tree Room, our internal inclusive provision that offers structured support in a calm and caring environment.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking someone who:
- Is enthusiastic, adaptable, and passionate about supporting children with SEND.
- Has experience in a school or nursery setting, ideally with Early Years’ experience.
- Understands the importance of inclusion, patience, and flexibility in helping children succeed.

This is a fixed term contract linked to specific funding by Rochdale Council until 31st August 2026.
