Job Description:
The Governing Body of The Twyn Primary School is seeking to appoint a dynamic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support learning in the school. Candidates will be required to have NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent.
The Teaching Assistant will be required to work under the guidance of, and with the Teaching and Senior Staff to implement agreed programmes of work
Cover whole classes during the short- term absence of teachers
Staff will be expected to support class teachers with assessment procedures
There will be a strong focus on working as a member of our very strong school team, encouraging positive behaviour in our children and assisting them in achieving high standards

Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014 all Learning Support staff in schools, (which includes the post referred to herein), must be registered with the Education Workforce Council for Wales (EWC) from 1 April 2016.
Your employment will be subject to satisfactory documentary evidence of registration, and continuing registration, as a Learning Support Assistant with the EWC.
