Are you a dedicated and experienced early years professional looking for the next step in your career? We are seeking a Nursery Manager to lead a thriving nursery setting in Cullompton on a full-time basis.

About the Nursery:
Our setting is a well-established, purpose-built nursery that provides a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children aged 0–5 years. With spacious rooms, secure outdoor areas, and a committed team of early years professionals, the nursery embraces a child-led approach to learning, encouraging exploration, creativity, and holistic development.

The Role – Nursery Manager:
As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and development of the nursery. This includes ensuring the highest standards of care, education, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will lead and support your team to deliver outstanding practice, build strong partnerships with families, and create a positive, enabling environment for children and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursery

  
  

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of early years practitioners

  
  

• Ensure full compliance with Ofsted, EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations

  
  

• Manage staff rotas, budgets, and nursery administration

  
  

• Maintain strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community

  
  

• Drive quality improvement and ensure a high standard of education and care

  
  

  Requirements:

  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years Education (Level 5+ desirable)

    
    

  • Proven experience in a nursery management or senior leadership role

    
    

  • In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and statutory requirements

    
    

  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

    
    

  • A genuine passion for delivering excellence in early years education
