Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs in a primary school setting?

Randstad Education is currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Gorton. This is a full-time role offering the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children who need extra support.

Job Description:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Work one-to-one or in small groups with children with additional needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech & language difficulties)

• Support the class teacher in delivering tailored learning plans

• Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment

• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback

• Assist with classroom routines, behaviour management, and personal care if required

Must Haves:

• Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a school setting

• A patient, caring, and resilient nature

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
