Are you a passionate and committed Year 1 Teacher looking to make a real difference in a supportive and forward-thinking primary school? Hays Education is working closely with a welcoming school in Blackburn to recruit a dedicated Year 1 Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2025.

Your new role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school that places a strong emphasis on nurturing the whole child. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons that support the academic and emotional development of pupils in a well-resourced Year 1 classroom.
What you'll need to succeed
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
- A sound understanding of the national curriculum and phonics schemes
- A caring, enthusiastic, and reflective approach to teaching
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
