Summary
We have a number of opportunities within our company for MIG and TIG Welders to join our team based in Daventry.
You will have experience working in a production environment . We require someone with an excellent eye for detail and understanding of quality. You must be able to work diligently with minimum supervision day to day.
· Work in accordance with legislative and company requirements for Health Safety and the Environment.
· Use MIG and/or TIG welding equipment to manufacture parts and assemblies as required, to meet defined production schedules.
- Preparation and setup of tools and equipment in support of the welding activity
- Preparation of parts for welding including using machines such as sizers and saws
- Manufacture parts using jigs and fixtures and working to information contained within the works orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Work closely with the Quality department to ensure correct operation and continuous improvement of both process and product.
- Support Works order and process tracking via shop floor data capture systems and the company wide ERP system.
- Operation of basic tube manipulation and fabrication equipment (once training complete) as required.
- Review of finished assemblies & parts to ensure accuracy reporting issues via the Quality Assurance team.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Shopfloor Supervisor .
- Work on the development of new components as required.
