Up to £27,476 per annum, depending on experience

40 hours per week

As a Duty Manager at our gym, you'll bring demonstrable sales experience and the ability to quickly get to grips with our business. You're enthusiastic, with excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit. You have a 'can do' attitude and you share our passion for excellent customer service.


As our Duty Manager you will:

  • Be responsible for the opening and closing of our MK site.

  • mixed shifts of Early and late DM shifts as well as sales focused shifts.

  • Manage the site and team to ensure it's operated in a safe and secure state for our staff and members.

  • responsible for selling of memberships as well as generating leads within their sales shifts.

  • possibility of managing a small team.

  • Have your say in how the site can be run and improved to meet and then exceed member expectations.

  • Engage with members and guests to provide a welcome environment for their visit.


The Person


To succeed as a Duty Manager, you will need:

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • An eye for detail and a willingness to step up to issues head on.

  • Ideally have customer facing experience including sales and complaints skills.

  • Already pool attendant/Lifeguard Level 2 Qualified or willing to train towards the qualification.

  • Experience leading small teams.

  • selling experience


Key information about the role

This is a full time 40 hour position requiring shift work including earlies, late's including weekends and sales shifts working to meet the needs of the business.
