Working from the Council’s Head Office (Grafton House) and agile too, you will be able to manage your time effectively to deliver tasks for which your projects require, this may require early starts or the occasional evening meeting, public consultations (sometimes at weekends) or multiple site meetings away from the office.

As a construction professional you’ll be as happy in an office environment as you are on site in inclement weather and be able to relate to all levels from site contractors through to Senior Clients such as Councillors and Directors.

Successful candidates will have:

Degree level education plus 5 years relevant experience or proven equivalent level of technical and organisational knowledge in related field or equivalent experience.
Relevant professional qualification covering building or construction MIRCS, MCIOB, TechIOSH or equivalent.
