We are looking for a Performance and Projects Officer who will manage data, report performance and assist with managing all aspects of the compliance of our housing stock, with the sole aim of keeping tenants safe in their homes.

Specifically, this post will be responsible for:

To be responsible for ensuring reporting on compliance with the ‘Big 9’ across all of the Council’s housing stock

Assisting our Building Safety and Compliance Managers complete all relevant work to ensure full legal compliance with gas, electrical, damp/mould, stock condition, lift safety, asbestos safety, water safety, smoke and CO alarms and fire safety. Ensuring all relevant regulatory certification and data is fully maintained at all times.


You will assist colleagues to ensure any work is allocated, programmed, monitored, reported and progressed. You will assist in ensuring quality and safety standards are met and compliance with specification. You will assist in ensuring performance is reported to CMT, Councillors and Governance Boards when asked to do so.


You will be the key point of contact for maintaining all data relating to compliance and preparing data reports including the use of graphs and analysis.


A good working knowledge in excel, IT forms is highly desirable. Any experience using Power BI may be beneficial. However, full training will be provided.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

Preferably, a degree qualification or proven organisational knowledge in a project or business planning environment

Ability to produce and analyse accurate and relevant reports in a variety of formats.

Working knowledge of a broad range of IT and web based applications.
