What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors and Headteacher are looking to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant to work across our school. The role involves supervising lunchtime play (12-1pm) and working as a teaching assistant (1 – 3.15pm).
Starting in September 2025, the successful candidate must have experience of supporting children’s learning as well as their social and emotional needs. You should be warm, encouraging, patient and be dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for all children. NVQ Level 3 is a desirable requirement of the position. The successful candidate will work across the primary phases. Experience of supporting children with special educational needs would be beneficial as this may form part of the role.
What the school offers its staff
In return, we can offer you a very supportive staff team who are committed and motivated to ensure that all our children strive to our motto to “be the best we can”. This position is offered on a temporary basis in the first instance, but may be extended depending upon the future requirements of the school. We offer a pension scheme with 21.5% employer contribution, a well-being Employee Assistance programme and annual statutory holiday pay of 5.8 weeks, on top of your 39 weeks, taken in term breaks.
Further details about the role
Closing date: 12noon on Friday 4th July 2025. Interviews: Wednesday 9th July 2025; only candidates selected for interview will be notified.
