It’s an exciting time at AC Marriott Belfast, with a brand-new people agenda and plans for growth put in place for this stunning hotel and restaurant. Were now looking for a passionate People and Culture Manager to drive the people agenda forward.

This isn’t a role for a HR professional who wants to sit behind a desk all day collecting data and ticking boxes… We’re looking for a forward-thinker who is passionate about shaping workplace culture, promoting open communication, recognising achievements, and advocating for people and culture initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting the People Agenda: Lead the development and implementation of strategies that enhance employee engagement, promote diversity and inclusion, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Open Door Policy: Establish and maintain a genuine open-door policy that encourages transparent communication, feedback, and collaboration at all levels within the organisation.
  • Celebrating Success: Create and implement programmes to recognise and celebrate team and individual achievements, reinforcing a culture of appreciation and motivation.
  • Standard for People and Culture Initiatives: Set the benchmark for best practices in people and culture management, ensuring policies and programmes align with organisational values and goals.
  • Spokesperson for the People Agenda: Serve as a vocal advocate for employees, representing their interests, concerns, and needs to senior management and fostering a culture of trust and respect.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to set and drive the people agenda
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to promote an open-door policy
  • Experience in designing and implementing recognition programs to celebrate success
  • Knowledge of best practices in diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement
