About the Role:
In this full-time, permanent position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our school site. Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the cleanliness and security of the school buildings and grounds
Carrying out routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs
Liaising with contractors and managing external works
Fire safety checks and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations
Providing a welcoming and helpful presence for staff, pupils, and visitors
Supporting with setting up and taking down for school events
You will be flexible in meeting the schools’ needs and able to manage your own work and time effectively.
We are looking for someone who:
Has a ‘can-do’ attitude and a willingness to get stuck in
Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Is a strong team player with a focus on problem-solving
Has a good eye for detail and takes pride in a high standard of work
Holds a valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Ideally has experience in a similar role or within a school environment
