Primary Responsibilities
• Take responsibility for the site's housekeeping needs, ensuring a clean, tidy, and well-organised environment.
• Use a practical and proactive approach when clearing excess debris from around the site.
• Accurately check deliveries for correct quantities and acceptable condition.
• Assist with unloading and organising material deliveries as instructed.
• Carry out general tasks as directed by the Site Manager.
• Empty site wheelie bins regularly to ensure availability for contractor use.
• Ensure all windows and doors are securely locked at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Notify the site management team of any defective works.
• Report any breakdowns or issues with plant or equipment issued to you.
• Pick litter from the site boundary to maintain a neat and presentable site.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management from time to time.
The successful applicant must possess a wide range of practical, hands-on skills to support the ongoing maintenance of the site and assist with daily operational tasks.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Operate the telehandler to move tyre walls and assist in vehicle recovery after circuit activity.
• Undertake general maintenance across the site.
• Maintain plant and recovery vehicles as needed.
• Use basic carpentry skills to fit doors, build stud walls, and perform general building maintenance.
• Apply basic plumbing knowledge to maintain and repair the site’s water supply.
• Operate a MIG welder to repair plant and equipment and fabricate basic frames or structures (e.g. trackside signs).
Personal Qualities & Requirements:
• A flexible, positive, and "can-do" attitude is essential to thrive at Blyton Park.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a small, close-knit team.
• Capable of using your own initiative to manage daily responsibilities, with or without supervision.
• Some training will be provided for operating plant and machinery, but a foundation of relevant skills is essential.
• Job lists will be issued for non-routine tasks, but adaptability and self-direction are key.
Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Between the hours of 7:00am – 8:00pm (hours and times may vary depending on the venue's booking schedule)
Additional Info: Occasional weekend work may be required. Flexibility is crucial for this role.

• Flexible and adaptable – willing to take on a variety of tasks as required, sometimes at short notice
