Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker specializing in Mental Health (BR11) to join our dynamic team. In this challenging and rewarding role, you will work closely with individuals facing mental health challenges in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, community outreach programs, and residential facilities. Your primary objective will be to provide support, guidance, and interventions to empower individuals to achieve and maintain mental wellness. As a Social Worker, you will conduct assessments to understand the specific needs of your clients and develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic approaches and community resources. You will also serve as an advocate, collaborating with healthcare professionals, family members, and community organizations to ensure holistic care for your clients. The role requires an understanding of the complexities of mental health issues and the social factors that contribute to them. You will be pivotal in reducing stigma around mental illness and promoting mental health awareness in the community. Responsibilities
Conduct assessments to determine clients' mental health needs.
Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
Advocate for clients within various systems including healthcare, education, and social services.
Build and maintain relationships with community resources to support client goals.
Educate clients and families about mental health issues and available resources.
Document all assessment and treatment activities in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
Requirements
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
Current licensure as a Social Worker in the state.
Experience in mental health settings preferred.
Strong understanding of mental health diagnosis and treatment methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to continued professional development and training.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 08:30
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £24.80
