Facilities & Workplace Co-ordinator
Edinburgh City Centre | fully office-based role
2 months Temp initially | strong potential to be extended
Full time hours | hours worked between 8:00am and 6:00pm to be agreed
Pay rate of £13.50 per hour + holiday pay

Search Consultancy are delighted to be working exclusively with a Professional Services firm based in Edinburgh City Centre to recruit this role on an initial 2 month temporary basis with a view to the role being extended subject to performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Facilities & Workplace support to the business on a day to day basis, as well as oversight of the Front of House & Workplace teams.

Duties involved in this role will include:

  • First point of contact for all workplace services and office operations
  • Daily completion of set to go/Attention to Detail each day for all areas
  • Reporting and monitoring office issues, maintenance requirements and meeting agreed SLAs by notifying managed services & reporting via the app
  • Completion of office weekly status reporting
  • Poster and communications management
  • Replenishing stationery/paper supplies by placing orders with vendors
  • Onsite personal storage, team storage and key management
  • Monitoring cleaning and reporting issues to managed services
  • Ensure clear desk policy is upheld and adhered



In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:

  • Previous experience within a Facilities, Front of House or Workplace Co-ordination role carrying out duties in line with the above - this experience is ESSENTIAL
  • Candidates with leadership experience in this type of role would be at a distinct advantage
  • First class communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Excellent organisational & time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a very busy workload effectively
  • A problem solving mindset with the ability to come up with creative solutions
