Are you a highly skilled and experienced Lead Shift Engineer seeking a challenging and rewarding role within a prestigious financial institution? This could be your ideal opportunity! We're partnering with a leading wealth management firm to find a Shift Lead to oversee a team of technicians maintaining critical plant infrastructure.

Experience & Skills Required

  • HV System Expertise (switching, isolation, energization)
  • Permit-to-Work Procedures
  • Technical Documentation & Record Keeping
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Team Leadership and Supervision
  • Proficient in PPM and reactive maintenance across various systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, life safety)
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Building Management Systems (BMS) and power distribution unit (PDU) expertise
  • Knowledge of SFG20, HTM, British Standards, and internal SLAs

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess a strong technical aptitude and proven leadership capabilities in critical environments. Ideal candidates will have a history of successfully managing teams and ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

  • High Voltage Authorization (HVAP - Valid or recently lapsed)
  • Apprentice Trained or NVQ Level 3 (minimum) in Electrical Installations
  • C&G 18th Edition
  • Experience as a Lead Engineer or Shift Lead in a critical environment

Education

Apprentice Trained or NVQ Level 3 (minimum) in Electrical Installations
