Crynodeb
You will be required to drive and task specialist airfield support vehicles, emergency response vehicles, passenger and freight vehicles including coaches and heavy goods, (rigid and articulated), in accordance with national laws, MOD regulations and local standing orders. A day and night working pattern is in place to which the successful applicant will be required to work. A willingness to be flexible and undertake planned or short notice overtime, including weekends is essential. The successful applicant will be required to oversee long distance journeys and partake if necessary during surge periods. Pre and post use vehicle documentation and maintenance will be required on all vehicles together with responsibility for satisfactory load and security. You must be prepared to undertake other tasks as required by the MT Supervisor; these may include general vehicle maintenance and husbandry. The successful applicant will be expected to wear appropriate PPE or smart wear if driving VIPs
